My Philosophy of Healing
We all have the capacity to lead
remarkable lives. Often, this involves "unlearning" all the ways of
being that are not authentic to you. It involves
discovering and developing your inherent gifts and talents and finding
which arenas of life are yours to explore. It involves taking care of
your mind, body, and spirit so that you maximize the potential in any
care in general is like tending to a garden.
It is a process of realignment,
strengthening, nourishing, and clearing so that you can have the best
experience of life possible.
ascribe to Angeles Arrien's Eight Concepts of Healing. Healing is not
only about help during illness, but is a broader life process that
includes the following:
1. A lifelong journey toward [realizing] wholeness
2. Remembering what has been forgotten about connection, unity, and interdependence among all things
3. Embracing what is most feared
4. Opening what has been closed, softening what has hardened into obstruction
5. Entering into transcendent, timeless moments
6. [Accessing and expressing] creativity, passion, and love.
7. Seeking and expressing self in its fullness
8. Learning to trust life
Healing is a journey, I am honored to be a part of that process. I look forward to meeting you!
